I refer to ICC Document 470/908 - Official ICC Publications on Documentary Credits - and have the following comments:
The following books are not included and should have been included:
Decisions (1975 -1979) of ICC Banking Commission, ICC Pub. No. 371 by Bernard S. Wheble
Opinions (1980 -1981) of the ICC Banking Commission, ICC Pub. No. 399 by Bernard S. Wheble
To pay tribute to the Father of Letter of Credit, these two books cannot be neglected, although they may no longer be available from ICC.
If someone quotes them in the future, the opposing side may argue that these two books are not recognized by ICC. This is not a situation that ICC Banking Commission would like to see.
The Complete Guide to Documentary Credits, by Wickremeratne / Rowe
It appears quite odd if this Official Workbook for the ICC/IFSA/CIB CDCS Examination is not included.
Please revise the said Document and re-distribute it to attendees on 24th or 25th May, 2000.
