General Procedure for An Enquiry
of Our Expert Services

  1. Identify your role clearly, whether you are a party of the disputes or you are acting for a party(ies) of the disputes.

  2. State your own role, or the role your client plays, where applicable, in the transaction leading to the disputes, for example, the seller/shipper/beneficiary, the buyer/consignee/applicant, the holder (in due course/for value) of negotiable instruments, the issuing bank, the negotiating bank (in good faith/against an indemnity), the financier, the carrier, the freight forwarder, the insurer, the inspection authority/agent and other specific roles.

  3. Present precisely the issues you need us to address in our Expert's Report in the form of questions.

  4. Provide a brief introduction of the transaction and the background information leading to the disputes, specifying the role(s) each party plays.

  5. Provide us with the key documents for our examination by fax, email and/or courier service, as you think fit.

  6. We will inform you whether or not we will accept your appointment only after reading the related documents. If we accept your case, we will quote you according to the instructions (terms of reference) in your letter of appointment. All out-of-pocket expenses, such as telephone, facsimile, notary, registration, searching, airfare, local transportation, hotel, meals and the like will be charged at cost, whether or not under a service package.

  7. We will commence work according to the terms and conditions of our quotation after receipt of 50% deposit from you by SWIFT or T/T remittance to our indicated bank account.

  8. The balance 50% of our quotation, other fees and out-of-pocket expenses, if applicable, must be fully paid before we courier our signed Expert's Report to you, or due promptly from date of our debit note or invoice.

  9. Our terms and condition of service are based on the recommendation by the Academy of Experts, Gray's Inn, London, of which we are Fellow and Accredited Expert (Letter of Credit). Our Expert's Report complies with the format, style and contents as recommended by the Academy and meets the requirements of the Academy with some adaptations, where necessary, to suit a particular case. Our Expert's Reports are accepted by the courts of law in ASEAN, Europe, the Middle East, the USA and Canada as court evidence.
